W3CIL Lab

The World 3 Cybersecurity Innovations Lab at the Ohio State University is a team of researchers striving to make advanced breakthroughs in analyzing, vetting, and securing computer systems. W3CIL aims to develop novel and practical techniques for protecting the cyber-infrastructure critical to modern society. Underpinning this research is the development of fundamental techniques in binary software analysis and instrumentation, hybrid static/dynamic program modeling, and machine learning.

W3CIL operates within the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Ohio State University. Lab members are comprised of faculty, students, and post-doctoral researchers from OSU. W3CIL is also closely affiliated with the Institute for Cybersecurity and Digital Trust.
